Game Symbols

With Revenge of Loki Megaways, players are working with 10 core symbols, plus 4 feature symbols. The 10 core symbols include the typical A-K-Q-J-10 traditional playing cards with characters from Norse mythology: Loki, Odin, Thor, Freya, and Tyr. Symbols pay on any matching adjacent symbols, left to right. Reels 1 and 6 can spin from two to seven rows; reels 2 through 5 can spin two to six rows, although reel 7, across the bottom of the board, aligns with reels 2-5, giving them an additional row.

Payouts

The Loki character is the highest-paying symbol of the game. It is also the only symbol to payout with matches on just the first two reels. The remaining character symbols all payout on 3 or more adjacent symbols, in this order from highest payout to lowest: Odin, Thor, Freya, and Tyr. The playing cards have lower payouts, with the A-K and then the Q-J sharing the same payouts and the 10 paying out the least. The playing cards also require 3 or more adjacent matching symbols to payout.

Min/Max bet

The minimum and maximum bets for Revenge of Loki Megaways are on the slightly higher end, with a $0.20 minimum and $240 maximum. The maximum amount is quite high and accommodates the higher spenders and larger bankrolls well. The minimum is also a bit high, though, so it could be smaller to accommodate more players.

Tumble feature

Throughout the game, matching symbols that reward the player burn up in flames (with the exception of the Scatter symbol), and symbols above on the reel tumble down the reel, like Tetris, to replace the matching, burnt-up symbols. Loki Super Icon symbol

The Loki Super Icon symbol appears only on the seventh horizontal reel on the bottom of the board. Every symbol on the reel above the Loki Super Icon is transformed into a Wild when it hits. If it hits because of a Tumble, then it randomly transforms symbols into higher-valued symbols all across the board until the Tumbles are complete.

This process is made more intense in the Free Spins round. There, a Loki Super Icon that hits rewards an additional Free Spin. If it hits or moves as a result of a Tumble, then 2 things happen:

1. The symbols on the reel above are transformed into Wilds
2. Other symbols on the board are transformed into increasingly higher-valued ones based on the number of times the Loki Super Icon has hit during the Free Spins round.

Scatter symbol

The Scatter symbol is an Icon with a letter on it. Four Scatter symbols spelling “Loki” anywhere on the board activate the Free Spins round. Players are initially awarded 9 free spins but are allowed to put them at risk in a Gamble round that occurs when the player connects the Loki Scatter symbols. Before the Free Spins round begins, players can win an additional 3, 6, or 9 more free spins during the Gamble round, but if they lose any gamble, the player loses all of their spins and is returned to the base game. Players, of course, can reject the Gamble round and move directly onto the Free Spins round.

Free Spins round

When four Scatter symbols spell “Loki” and players move into the Free Spins round, this activates the Loki Icon symbol, which only appears on reel 6 during the Free Spins round. The Loki Icon awards one or two additional free spins or a 1x or 2x multiplier when it hits. All multipliers remain in place during the spin and work during any subsequent Tumbles. It was during the Free Spins round that we won the largest amounts, which were pretty much always dramatically larger than any of those we won during the base game.
